Summary:

We would like to load bulk users into the production environment. Can we load the users into Secure Access Database with an Excel Spreadsheet?

 

Solution:

We have not tested the import from Excel but the import from ODBC in common should be working properly. Please refer to the "Import from ODBC Databases" and "Setting Up the ODBC Import" chapters in the Secure Access Guide.

In the "Setting Up the ODBC Import" chapter there is an example describing how to import data from our testing Microsoft Access database that you can find in the folder:

"C:\Program Files\PortSight Secure Access\2.1\Examples\Import\TestODBC.mdb"

So if the import from Excel sheet will not work, please try the import from  MS Access or MS SQL database.
