Here you can set when the organizational unit is valid. If you need to lock an existing organizational unit, so that it doesn't influence any permissions, simply set the time period different to current time.
Valid From - date the organizational unit is valid from. This value must always be set.
Valid To - date the organizational unit is valid to. Leave it empty if you don't want to restrict the organizational unit and its members.
