This chapter describes typical operations for administrators and developers who use the Web-based user interface of the PortSight Secure Access.
After you log on, you can see the following screen (you may see fewer items in
the left menu according to your permissions):

For listing objects (e.g. users, groups,
organizational units, ...) a datagrid control is used, that has the following
advanced capabilities:

It supports paging where number of records listed on one page is primarily taken from your "My Settings".

Maximal number of records that will be displayed in the datagrid is limited and this value could be changed in the Web.config - parameter SecureAccessTopRowsNumber. This parameter is useful if you work with huge number of records. If you don't provide this attribute, the default value is 1000.

It supports sorting according any of the displayed column. Sorting and sorting direction you can change by clicking on the appropriate column name.

It supports filtering and using wild-char (asterisk "*") as a substitution for any character or group of characters. The asterisk is automatically appended at the end of each string so it is not necessary to do that explicitly.

Any visible column can participate in the filter condition and it is possible to define up to 6 conditions.
