PortSight Secure Access consists of:

Database that contains information about users and permissions.

.NET Assemblies (API) that can be used in your applications.

Web-based user interface that can be used for management of the whole system. This interface is built of user controls that can be re-used in your applications.

Windows application (Secure Access Catalog Manager) for deployment and management of Secure Access catalogs.

Import Wizard (part of the Catalog Manager) and Windows Service for import and update of existing user accounts from external sources (Enterprise Edition only).
PortSight Secure Access is a three-tier system. It means there are three tiers of libraries:

Database tier libraries for accessing data in the PortSight Secure Access database.

Business logic tier that provides services for your applications and for the user interface components.

Presentation tier that consists of reusable user controls and Web-based management interface.
The import module (included in the Enterprise Edition only) uses the database tier and business logic tier libraries and its own libraries.
