Using the Controlled Packages facility, you can save and load packages to a named file. If a package has been marked for control it is displayed in the Project Browser window with a red rectangle to the left of the package icon. If you have previously saved a controlled package, you can reload it using the menu option.
To load a controlled package, follow the steps below:
| 1. | In the Project Browser window, right-click on the package to load. The context menu displays. |
| 2. | Select the menu option. |
| 3. | If you have configured the package control details, Enterprise Architect prompts you to confirm the import. |
Warning: Importing deletes the current package entirely from the model, and the action cannot be undone. You must be careful not to lose any current changes or information.
| 4. | Click on the button to confirm the import. The current package is deleted and the saved package is imported. |
