Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to use some of the standard controls that are provided in the .NET Framework. You learned about the four basic categories of controls: action, value, list, and container controls. Although not an exhaustive list of all the controls that fit into these categories, the controls examined in this chapter gave you an understanding of the four basic categories of controls and when to use each type. At the end of the chapter, you learned how to customize and create reusable user controls.
