Windows authentication requires users to be logged in to the domain before accessing the application. Once the users log in they are recognized using their domain login name. It means there must be an account with the same login name in the Secure Access catalog, such as MYDOMAIN\JOHNF.

 

If you want to configure your application for the Windows authentication you have two options:

• Configuring Windows Authentication Using the Application Configuration Wizard (recommended for new projects).
• Configuring Your Application Manually (recommended for advanced users and for adding Secure Access to existing projects).
