Here you can edit general organizational unit details, such as name, description, etc.
Name - organizational unit name.
Description - description of the organizational unit.
Object Alias - user group alias. It can be used for hard-coding names of organizational units if you need to refer to them in your program. Thus it shouldn't be changed later. When creating a new user group, the alias is filled with the same value as organizational unit name. It must be unique.
General Custom Field 1 - this field is usually used for integration purposes and importing data from external sources, such as Active Directory. Use it to store external ID of the object.
General Custom Field 2 (GUID) - this field is usually used for integration purposes and importing data from external sources, such as Active Directory. Use it to store external ID of the object. The format of the GUID value is DDDDDDDD-DDDD-DDDD-DDDD-DDDDDDDDDDDD where D is a hexadecimal number.
Owner - an assigned owner. This is optional when the ownership is enabled. For more information see the section Management of Owners.
