After you open in Design view the report that contains the field you want to delete, click the field's text box control to select both the label and the text box.
Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
The field is deleted.
Click the Save button on the Standard toolbar in the main Access window to save the change to the report.
Suppose that you want your report to include only certain fields from the selected table. In that case, you can easily delete from the report any fields you don't need.
Was Only the Label Deleted?
If only the label was deleted, you did not select the text box. You must select the text box to delete both the label and the text box
Undoing the Deletion
If you change your mind, you can undo the deletion by clicking the Undo button on the Standard toolbar in the main Access window or by opening the Edit menu and choosing Undo.
